Class Structure
- Students arrive at class: Please bow to the flags as you enter the school. Please wait quietly until the previous class has ended.
- Stepping on or off of the mats: As you step on or just before you step off the mats, please turn to the flags and bow. If you need to leave the mats during a class, please ask one of the instructors for permission.
- Starting class line up: Students always line up according to rank; the highest rank nearest to the flags and the lowest rank nearest to the door.
- Bowing into class: We recite the Taekwondo Student Oath. Students will be required to memorize this. It can be found on the Student Portal.
- Instructors will start class: Classes are 45 minutes long. See Student Portal for more information on class time and curriculum.
- End of class line up: When class is finished, students will be instructed to line up. This will be the same as at the beginning.
- Bowing out of Class: We repeat the Taekwondo Student Creed. Students will be required to memorize this. It can be found on the Student Portal.
- Circle Up: The leading instructor will tell the class to circle up around the instructors and will repeat: “Build, Honor, Protect, Legacy!” Class is done, and students are free to leave. Young children must have their parents meet them at the door.
